ABOUT THE JOB:
Flexibility is a core value at FuseCFO. That means the whole Fuse Crew works remotely, and, within reasonable limits, sets their own schedules. So its up to you whether you work as little as 25 hours a week or as much as Full Time.
Today, FuseCFO is seeking an Accountant or Controller to join our team. Position will work with multiple clients to complete weekly and monthly accounting tasks, clean up accounting problems and define best practices for our client’s small business.
That means you’ll do some challenging bookkeeping, work with your team to provide financial reports to the client, and much more. We’re a small team, so you’ll play a key role — supporting your teammates and your clients.
You will have fun working with our amazing clients while you take on full responsibility for their satisfaction. You’ll learn (and use!) all aspects of small business accounting & finance. It’d be best if you know QuickBooks Online, but we also use QB Desktop, SAP ONE, SAP (R3 or S4), NetSuite, and Xero.

We’d love to get to know you! Below are short descriptions of our primary FuseCFO staff roles and a place for you to provide some information and your resume.
Fuse Accountants provide general bookkeeping and financial reporting for multiple small business clients. Duties include reconciling bank and credit card statements, processing payments and receivables, sales tax management and journal entries. Accountants work closely with the Controller and client to ensure the client’s accounting needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Fuse hires both full- and part-time Accountants with a wide range of experience. The best Accountants are very organized team players who are detail-oriented and possess great analytical skills. They are also adept at learning new tech and accounting systems. (Required: Degree in accounting + at least one year working in accounting or finance)
Fuse Controllers oversee the financial and accounting activities of multiple small business clients. They provide monthly close, financial reporting and analysis and work closely with client management teams in support of clients’ financial health. Controllers provide critical quality control and oversight of payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and collections work performed by Accountants. They are knowledgeable in GAAP, IFRS, general banking, and financial and accounting systems. A successful Fuse Controller is team-oriented, proactive, and able to set and shift priorities. They are willing to jump in at any level of the business when needed to best serve our clients. (Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent and at least 7 years of relevant experience)
